Kestrel Tune-Up Overview
All factory calibrations relevant to your model are performed, as well as the following services:
- Visual inspection - Full function test (display, backlight, buttons etc..)
- Battery door inspection/replacement if needed
- New calibrated wind impeller and impeller cover installed (dependent on model)
- Surface cleaning
- Leak test
- Communication check (IR functionality)
- Test Bluetooth communication (if Bluetooth / LiNK model)
- Test compass
- Replace battery
The Certificate of Conformity for your unit will be re-issued, along with the serial number of the unit, the date of test, and the signature of the test agent.
Shipping Your Unit: After completing your purchase, please note your order number so you can add it to the outside of the box. Please pack your Kestrel securely and ship to:

(NOTE: For both warranty and non-warranty repairs, we'll take care of return ground shipping at no charge to the US and Canada, but you are responsible for cost of shipping to NK. Expedited and overseas shipping is available at additional charge.)
You will also receive an email confirming these instructions. It is most important that we have your Order Number so we can promptly match your unit with your service request. You can also print your order confirmation and add it to the box.
Warranty Note: Every Kestrel is guaranteed to perform within specification, including the specified drift of the sensor in question, for FIVE YEARS from the date of manufacture or documented date of first customer purchase. If your Kestrel is under warranty and does not meet this standard under test, it will be repaired or replaced as covered under the terms of our Limited Warranty.
