Kestrel Team Trains PA Dog Law Enforcement Officers
Monica Devlin Comments
Kestrel team members Katie Godfrey, Senior Global Account Executive, and Madeline Delaney Product Manager, trained several dog wardens of the Pennsylvania Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement on features and operation of the Kestrel DROP D2 Temperature & Humidity Data Logger. The PA Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement is responsible for ensuring the welfare of breeding dogs and puppies in commercial breeding kennels. Also, the bureau regulates activities pertaining to dogs that are classified as dangerous, and oversees annual licensure and rabies vaccinations for dogs.
Currently, the Kestrel DROP Data Loggers are used inside all Pennsylvania commercial kennels to monitor conditions for the animals. Also, the dog wardens use the DROP loggers to ensure that kennels are following regulations related to animal living conditions.
The Kestrel DROP D2 Temperature & Humidity Data Logger measures temperature, humidity, heat stress index and dew point temperature. The DROP loggers allow the dog wardens to collect accurate measurements and record data over a period of time. This information is valuable to the wardens, especially if records are required in court cases.
